I've been questioned quite a bit about my dolls and i have to keep repeating the same thing all the time, so i guess it's easier to put up a FAQ. I'll try to make it fun tho ^_^;

Q: WHAT IS THAT?
'That' is a doll, best known as Dollfie or Super Dollfie. They are fully customizable ABJD (asian ball jointed dolls), hand sculpted and cast either in resin (more common) or vinyl. Their sizes vary from 11cm to 90cm, more or less. There are many companies that sell them and people who makes them.

Q: DID YOU MAKE IT?

Q: ARE THERE OTHER MAKERS?

Q: ARE YOU ABLE TO MOVE THEIR EYES ABOUT?
Yes, these dolls have a head cap that is hidden under the wig which you can open to restring them. They have an s-hook holding the string for the whole body which is attached to the head. Inside the head you have the eyesocket that has room for any type of eyes you wanna put in and it's held by something called eye putty, but white tac also works. So you can move them and change them as you will.

Q: ARE THEY WEARING WIG, CAN YOU CHANGE THEM?
Yep, they are wigs specially made for their head size. You can pop the out and change like you do with the eyes.

Q: WHAT ARE FACEUPS?
Some people call make up but that's wrong. It's called face up because your doll doesn't come with a 'face'. It havent got eye lashes or eye brows or lips or colour. Some companies offer face up so you can buy with your doll but they charge a stupid amount of money for them. They are amazing and detailed tho but i prefer doing them myself. Q: WHERE CAN BUY ONE OF YOURS?
Laken is a Dollshe SA Saint first release, you can't buy him from a shop anymore because Dollshe (the maker) stoppped making this mold but you can buy a Dollshe Saint from here [link] however, he is not exactly like Laken, they are 4cm taller and look slightly different on the face and body.
Kieran is a Dollzone Yuu, you can buy him from here [link]

Q: HOW MUCH DID YOU PAY?
Don't ask such thing, is ruuude! Anyway, they are expensive but depends what you consider expensive. Prices go from + - $100 to $4000. Limited dolls are usually more expensive. Mind you, $450/$500 for a large doll is usually considered cheap.

Q: WHY DID YOU BUY SOMETHING LIKE THAT?
They are prettier and cheaper than a car and they don't pollute. XP

Q: WHAT IS THAT NIGHTFALL THING?
Nightfall is an online shop for BJD's punk style clothing with unique designs based in HK. I sell their stuff here in the UK.

Q: WHAT ARE LIMITED AND EVENT HEADS?
Every year many companies run contests and events where you can either do something and win dolls, heads, vouchers or they give you a gift if during the 'event period' you spend a certain amount of money in their shop. Event heards are usually given away by Luts and DOD (Dream of Doll) and you can only get them if you buy from them during a certain period (usually holidays, important worldwide events like xmas) so the heads are limited. Limited dolls are a bit different, they are usually molds that are sold as a full set and of a very limited number. Some are just ONE of a kind... so expect to pay around $2K for one.

Q: YOUR DOLLS HAVE BACKGROUND, DID YOU CREATE THAT?
Some companies do give their doll a bakcground story, but Dollfies are made to be customized, so you usually create your own name for them and their story. Apart from Laken and Tui, all the other characters were once RP characters about 3 to 4 years old. I decided to get them and turn them into dolls, so i customized them to look like the characters i drew in the past. Takeru was an RP character too but i also write/draw a comic about him. Kenji (incomming doll) is just a comic character. He is 6 years old and i've been writing the story forever (called Jazz). Laken and Tui were bought because i wanted the mold, so i named them and gave them a backgroud story after i bought them. So all my dolls stories are original and also adapted from their main rp/comic stories.

Q: WHO'S APPLEJAZZ, JAZZREMIX, JAZZ?
Jazz is my manga style comic, I've been writing it for 6 years and i've used it in uni projects and etc. KENJI, TRISTAN & A.L.I. are the only Jazz character i have in doll form, the others will come [JT & Lucienn]. Applejazz is the name of my dolls' band and the universe where they exist. Apart from LAKEN, LUCAS, TUI, KAN, HEART & SOUL, all other dolls have their own original story that was modified to fit this universe. Jazzremix is my website, just type .co.uk after it.

Q: I LIKE YOUR PICTURES CAN I USE THEM?
By default...NO! You can draw my characters as fanart if you like but unless i've given you permission you can't use my pictures for your artwork as stock photos (which means using my poses and angles to draw your own character based on it) or anything else. I would be glad to be informed about fanarts anyway cos then i can put in my journal. I have 2 watchers using pictures for RP forum which i granted permission but they asked, so if you are not them, you should not be using my pictures for that purpose. >.O
